Dr Sevdalina Lambova, MD, PhD

 

Dr Sedalina Lambova is a specialist in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology with PhD degree in Rheumatology. Dr S. Lambova has graduated in medicine in Thrakia University, Medical faculty, Stara Zagora, Bulgaria in 2003. In 2004, Dr Lambova has started her education as a PhD student in Rheumatology in the Department of Propedeutics of Internal medicine, Clinic of Rheumatology, Medical University, Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Since 2007 until present, dr Lambova is an Assistant Professor in Rheumatology and Internal medicine in the Department for Propedeutics of Internal medicine, Clinic of Rheumatology, Medical University, Plovdiv, Bulgaria. In 2009, dr S. Lambova has undergone education and performed research in Justus Liebig University - Giessen, Department of Internal Medicine and Rheumatology and in December 2011 she defended a dissertation focused on “The role of capillaroscopy in rheumatology” under the guidance of Prof dr Ulf Müller-Ladner. 

In 2014, dr Lambova received Master degree in Health Management. Her scientific interests are focused on the role of capillaroscopy in Rheumatology, microvascular involvement in rheumatic diseases, new insights in pathogenesis and treatment of Raynaud’s phenomenon and systemic sclerosis, new developments in diagnosis and treatment of inflammatory arthritis, connective tissue diseases and osteoarthritis. Dr Sevdalina Lambova is an author and co-author in a number of scientific publication in Bulgaria and abroad, reviewer in international rheumatological editions in the field of her scientific interests.
